Aldridge Gardens Wedding Video
It all started in a small college town over a plate of cheesy bread and two glasses fresh from the tap. Sitting in Sips on the Square, these two were so engrossed in getting to know each other that they completely forgot to order their pizza! Fast forward and they found themselves falling in love with the beauty of the every day, as well as each other. Since Carly and Tucker’s relationship is such a comfortable, best-friend kind of love, a little bit of rain couldn’t stop the sweetness of their Aldridge Gardens wedding! In fact, we believe it highlighted the carefree, easy relationship they share!
When we met to talk about their wedding film, Carly told us that they envisioned their wedding day not so much as a “fairytale wedding” but as a super romantic date…surrounded by family & friends. That is exactly how it was!
The morning of the wedding, Carly and her friends impressed us with their knowledge of every word to early 2000’s hip hop. They laughed and enjoyed a relaxed time at her friend’s home, getting their hair and makeup perfect before making the short drive over to Aldridge Gardens. You would have never known that just outside, the clouds were starting to turn a gloomy grey. This weather wasn’t ideal for the outdoor ceremony among the trees they planned, but their gracious, go-with-the-flow attitudes more than made up for it. Their amazing planner, Carly, also had a rain plan in place, moving the ceremony to an intimate covered location, surrounded by twinkle lights. Also, we thoroughly believe rainy day portraits with a chill couple like Carly & Tucker will ALWAYS be the most romantic! These two literally danced in the rain, completely engrossed with each other. #GOALS
Morning Emotions & a Traditional First Look
One of the day’s sweetest moments was Carly’s first look with her Dad and Brother. We could tell that they were blown away by how beautiful she looked in her Bella’s bridal wedding gown. Seeing (and hearing) their relationship in that moment made us all a little teary-eyed.
Speaking of teary-eyed…just be ready. Tucker’s letter to Carly was the absolute sweetest, and seemed to calm her nerves since they decided to do a traditional first look at the aisle. Tucker’s twin brother helped him get ready and his groomsmen helped him stay collected with a few libations and some well-timed jokes. 😉
