As a little girl, Maggie envisioned her perfect wedding day. She scoured the pages of Martha Stewart Weddings, clipping images and saving stories, carefully tucking them into protective sleeves in a binder.
Flash forward..The binder was left at home as Maggie and Andrew traveled from Arkansas to have their Pursell Farms Wedding.
Each detail of the day reflected the couple's story-from their deeply rooted faith to their love and nostalgia for France-where they spent several beautiful months together.
The subtle nods to France lent themselves perfectly to our Super 8mm film camera. We love how the nostalgic captures on 8mm created a dream-like memory for them and were especially excited to license La Vie en Rose for this portion of their film. (Licensed through Tracks) Especially since they chose Louis Armstrong's trumpeted version of the song as their first dance.
[3:35] Maggie wore a stunning gown from Lela Rose for the ceremony and changed into a different dress for the reception—one custom designed by her grandmother, Helen Benton.
[6:18] Can we take a moment to appreciate this tent-rance? We will forever love a larger than life tent draped in florals.
