“Fearfully & Wonderfully Made”
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalm 139:14
Those are the words that decorated sweet Lillian Grace’s hospital door hanger, reminding everyone who saw her of the incredible gift she is to her family. Miss Lilly Grace was born on March the 6 at 9:29pm at UAB Hospital and has kept her sweet parents Haleigh & Lance up at night since then. (But they tell me they are too smitten to care about her night-owl antics.) She weighed 7 pounds and nearly 15 ounces, and at only 19 and 3/4th inches, could bring any grown up to their seats with those innocent eyes and red hair (yes, I’m calling it Lance, that baby has red hair!)
You’ll notice a small smocked white gown in their photos & film, that gown is so special, as it has been worn by Haleigh and several other members of her family on their way home from the hospital. That sweet detail, along with the aquamarine gemstone necklace that Lance gave Haleigh to celebrate LG, were too sweet not to document.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve this family as they start their adventure in life together. The best part? Getting to witness a family growing, and a great grandmother meeting her “Little Girl” for the first time. Tears. Straight tears.
There is nothing like editing a newborn session to get the dust out of your eyes. Haleigh, Lance & Lillian Grace, I am so happy for you three!
